Who we are
Alliance Française de Limassol is a non-profit organization, founded in 1963. It is part of a worldwide network, made of 832 Alliances Françaises, in 131 countries. Alliance Française de Limassol is managed by a 7-member board, which is elected every two years in accordance with its statutes.
The new committee of the Alliance Française de Limassol is: Dr Niki Papadopoulou-Papa, President, Ms Androulla Boularan, Vice President, Ms Agathe Chrysostomou, Vice President, Mr Panayiotis Iacovides, Treasurer, Ms Andri Evripidou, Deputy Treasurer, Ms Danielle Zenios, Secretary and Mr. Thierry de Doncker, Deputy Secretary.
Our vision and goals
The aim of the Alliance Française of Limassol is to spread the French language and culture in the city of Limassol, to activate an organized group of those who wish to contribute to the promotion of knowledge of the French language and culture and in general, to support and promote the relations between Cyprus and France, giving impetus to exchanges, in a language and cultural level.
Teaching French at the Alliance Française of Limassol meets the requirements of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and is taught by French professors or graduates of French or French-speaking universities.
We offer French courses for all ages and all levels, group or individual and fast, preparation for the international exams: DELF, DALF, TCF, GCSE, GCE as well as for admission to French or French-speaking universities
The Alliance Française Limassol is approved by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth, as a private French Tutoring Center.
